Not convincing for me. If anything, her speech yesterday was a major turn-off. Instead of going off on Obama's "lack of experience", she should've used that time to talk about real issues such as healthcare, the fact that the unemployment rate is significantly low, challenges with the housing industry, the DEFICIT, etc....all she talked about yesterday was McCain as a POW and a fighter. Yes, it is commendable that he achieved so much, but just bc you've served in the military doesn't necessarily mean that you are qualified to lead an entire country. She capped on Obama so much, but she should've realized that Obama was the one who stood up for her when the press went wild about her 17 year old daughter being pregnant. If you can't control your own family, how can you control an entire nation? Maybe it's just political banter, but I think it's still necessary to get your points across with actual substance (ie "I will reduce the deficit by X% by 2010 by doing the following....). Looking forward to McCain's speech tonight, hopefully he'll hit some of the major topics and recommendations for the future.

She did do a great job on the speech. It was a little more, ok - much more, combative than I would have liked, but I think she proved her point. She wanted to show that she could throw down with the big boys, and that's exactly what she did. I would have liked to hear her stance on more of the issues surrounding this election, but I guess McCain will be doing that tonight.

I can't wait for the debates!
