The Big B (Amitabh Bachchan) is Blogging it up!

Recently, the Big B started his own blog, which has grown to be a VERY popular site for many desis and non South Asians around the world who idolize the movie star.  Amitabh Bachchan’s blog, titled BIGBlog, captures his daily journal entries to his fans as he tours all around the world. 

Here is a caption from one of his recent blog posts:

Just returned from the opening night of Cannes Film Festival. Aishwarya was already here, Abhishek joined in from Miami and together with Jaya we went to the Festival.

 It is a big festival, many interesting films and people gather every year and it is sad to see no Indian representation. But just to witness the dignity and respect they give to artist and technitions is quite amazing. The management , the dress code and protocol, all so methodical and artistically managed.

Opening film was, ‘Blindness’. An amazing story, but philosophical in nature.

The blog is supposed to capture the real Amitabh Bachchan through his candid blog entries.  Fans of the Big B are pleasured by his daily blog posts, even if he types a few lines just to say hello.  On one of his blog posts, we noticed he had over 1000 comments from various fans and followers.  There are, however, many fans who get upset when he doesn’t respond…come on people, don’t get mad at the Big B!  We’re lucky enough Amitabh is taking the time out of his busy schedule to even learn how to use his blog!

So who do you think is the next Bollywood star to join the blogsphere?  Maybe Lil’ B and Ash?  We’ll keep you posted if they do!

    I know that u r a gud person, nd u don’t want to share ur persnol life with ur fans and media.But at the time of Abhi’s wedding apne hm fans ko kafi nirash kiya.I m dying to know that what was the reason!Kya aap stars hm jaise logo ko koi value nhe dete?Kya hamlog unlogo ko apna bhagwan mante hai jinki najar me ham kiro ki tarah hai!I know u have no time to solve these type of problem,but i wish aap mere is question ka Answer doge…

    I am watching your movies since my childhood. As far as acting is concerned you are the best amongst past as well as present actors. But whenever I read about your life in news papers, magazines or I watch you on TV when you are replying to the interviewers or journalists, most of the time I find you an arrogant kind of person. This kind of image never suits a person like you. Haven’t you ever been told about it? You might not been, I think. Being a BIG Fan of BIG B, I found opportunity to write something about you on your blog. Thanks for being a best entertainer.

    hi i m sahil .waise to mai kolkata ka rahne wala hu par basically mai allhabad ke pas ka hu pratapgarh ka.mai aapse sirf ek sawal karna chahta hu ki jab aap strugglw kar rahe the, maine suna hai to kya kabi aap ko laga ki shayad mujh me wo cheez nahi hai jo success hone ke lie chahie.i mean aap ka confidence kam hua.ya aap ko hamesha beleve tha apni potential par.agar time lage to reply kar digie ga agar na lage to its o.k.

    Aadarniya Amitabh ji saadar charan sparsh.Aap aaj jis shirsh sthan per hain usme aapke parishram ke sath sath Ishwar ki kripa bhi sammilit hai.Aap ek antarmukhi tatha swabhimani vyaktitva ke swami hain aur sambhavatah isi gun ke karan aapko prasidhdhi ke sath sath logon ka samman bhi prapt hai.Ye sab mai matra prashansa hetu nahi apitu soch samajhkar keh raha hu.Yadi Ishwar ne chaha to kabhina kabhi meri aapki bhet avashya hogi.

    Log kahte hain safalta parishram se hi prapt hoti hai kintu yadi Mata Pita ke sanskar bado ka aashirvad kuch apno ka sahyog aur Ishwar ki kripa na ho to safalta adhuri hoti hai aur yahi baat aapko anya shreshtha logo me aur shreshtah banata hai kripya ise banaye rakhiyega.

    Yadi maine kuch galat kaha hoga to kripya kshama kijiyega.
