The PHX Suns acquired Shaquille O’Neal in a stunning, blockbuster deal that sent four-time All-Star Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks to the MIA Heat. This was a bad move on the Suns part, you are giving up a pair of speedy players for a slow Shrek aka Shaq. You are going to add a player who has recently been plagued by injuries and not to mention getting older to a team that is known for being fast pace. Good Job Suns!!!

Suns offense is too much for Shaq. He can’t run, nor can he shoot. In MIA he was complaining about how many times he doesn’t get the ball, and now you are going to put him on a team where he will be the fourth go to guy? I agree Suns need strength in the middle and they need someone to give that defensive presence, but adding Shaq to the line up is not the way to go. Sure this will give Amare Stoudemire a chance to move to power forward spot, where the league’s centers no longer can destroy him on a nightly basis, but overall it doesn’t help them (Suns) at all. “Shaq doesn’t fit anything they do,” one Eastern Conference assistant coach said. What makes the Suns great in the half court is there ability to pick and roll everybody. Don’t see that happening any more.
