I have a retail company here in houston, and i’ve used all of the South Asian and Desi mediums to advertise my business in the past. I have noticed that the Newspapers and Radio are most effective, but I am beggining to get more a return on my online ads, which are actually a little cheaper for me.
I tend to use flash banner ads, which are a little more attractive and drive more hits. If you are going to advertise online, I would recommend your ad is animated if not flashy.
Promod, great point. Flash banners are definitely more effective and allow your business to rotate different promotions within one ad space.
To design a flash banner, you can use dreamweaver or Swishmax, which you may be able to snag pretty cheaply online.
Our teams also offer free banner ad design when you purchase any of our advertising packages.
